In the mid-1920s, Lowell Hughes had a dream, and today his dream is Huges Farms' reality. Lowell moved to Skagit Valley from Iowa and began his quest to build a family business. Over the years he passed the farm over to his son Jim, and his four boys. Today, Dave, Tom, Jeff and Bob are the key players behind Hughes Farms. They each have a talent that helps Hughes Farms thrive and grow on a daily basis.

We take pride in everything we grow, from the many specialty varieties of potatoes, to broccoli, peas, wheat, and many other products. Hughes Farms is continuously looking for new ways to improve the quality of our produce, so you take home only the "best."

Over time, Hughes Farms has grown in production ,to where we require the assistance from Washington Lettuce and Vegetable to help distribute our products world wide. They sell and ship our produce, so we can take the necessary time needed to tend to the crops.

Hughes Farms will continue to grow and produce the best products for the public, as long as we keep listening to our mothers and "eat our vegetables."
